Prompt 3: W131 Worlds Collide

Hello, students. Welcome to our collaborative blog, where three sections of W131 will meet -- virtually -- to share thoughts on the film Catfish, Sherry Turkle's book Alone Together, and any of our other image analysis sources.

The steps:

1. Register to post on Blogger via the invitation I've sent to your IUPUI email.

2. Write a 350-500 word blog post related to any of our Paper 3 sources. Feel free to focus on one, or practice synthesizing sources as the assignment requires.

To make a new post, once you're logged in, click the orange "New Post" button, or the button with the pencil icon.

3. Respond to at least two other posts.

4. At some point in the post, indicate your section by changing the color of some of the text. This is the capital letter "A" in the toolbar, which is defaulted to black.

So M/W 1:30 looks like this,
                                                                     T/R 3:00 looks like this,
                                                                            &   T/R 1:30 looks like this.

5. Due: Monday Nov. 10 by midnight. Earlier is fine, too.

Notes:

-Use proper MLA style where possible. The text editor looks a lot like Word, so you can use italics and other similar features for sources.

-Remember context: This is a public blog, so don't assume readers will know what you mean when you say "in this photo" or "in the book." Practice setting up your sources. You can use hyperlinks, too, while in edit mode. (It's the underlined word Link in the toolbar.)
