Power of Image

Image is what we see through our eyes.there is saying that, eyes(sight) are door to the heaven. Most of us are  gifted with ability to see and interpret through our mind.our human mind is very complex computer. As time goes by our invention with technology and integration with psychology is going beyond our control and imagination.what i read in the book alone together about guy character name Pete he has a virtual life on internet, which is helping him live his practical life.he has a virtual girl friend name jade. Pete and jade never met in real life, they even never spoke,they choose each other on virtual life according to their character and look. author Sherry Turkle says Pete does not even know if jade is women or men.despite that fact, they are virtually married couple.In the movie catfish how Angela was able to create virtual identity using someone's picture(Aimee Gonzalez)thanks to technology ! poor Nev feel in love with the Image he saw on the  Facebook and character that was played by Angela.Nev's Facebook was real,Angela was trying to fill in the gaps in her real  life with virtual life. How we can get attracted to the  image,with technology, it can gives us the illusion.we think it's real and perfect and also within our reach. we become victim of illusion, that's what happened to Nev.Video of Dove Beauty revolution, you can see the bombarding of all the image of perfect women body,not everyone is strong enough to be themselves. Many become victim of the social pressure or try to live up to the expectation of the others. How far people can go to feel and look perfect , ordinary girl can go through the all sort of cosmetic surgery and diet trials to become perfect image. Angela can steal picture and create a fake identity. I am glad for the book and also the movie it's truly learning for everyone I believe.
